This 1999 sequel to Close Combat gives you command of Axis or Allied troops during WWII's Battle of the Bulge. The action takes place in real time, but with the intuitive controls, you'll be. Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is a great release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series. Gateway to Caen focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

Hello guys, please can anybody explain to me what is the close combat is exactly?
I have a dual sword build and trying to forge it, unfortunetly (or not) almost everything is close combat on it, but I cant change (Soul Match) the fix effect. You're right. Close combat is exactly that.

No matter what stance or skill if you are close to the enemy the dmg will apply. What you actually have right there is close combat ki dmg. This means you will take more chunks off of someones ki bar in close combat when you hit them. You cant change the mid guard ki reduction because of the pause button (inherited trait) what you CAN do is switch the inherited trait from another weapon on to it instead to replace that. The way you go about doing this is maxing the familiarity on the weapon that will be broken down, and then soul matching it into the weapon you want to keep. The new inherited trait will then be applied. There are some rules to this though.
You cant have a weapon that double dips stats. So for example you cant have a double ki reduction sword, or a fire lightning sword, etc. Hope this helps. If you need any more info you can hit me up on psn sleepysilktail.
